Care of Your Watch

Water Resistance

You will find an indication of your watch's water resistance on the watch dial or on the case back. You should see one of the following designations: 200M or 20 BAR, 100M or 10 BAR, 50M or 5 BAR, or you may see nothing at all. It is important that you follow the recommendations in the chart below for your watch and take note of the following precautionary tips:

- Do not operate the crown when wet
- If the watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it in fresh water and then wipe it thoroughly dry
- Caution: Leather straps are not water resistant except where indicated, even if the watch
   head is water resistant.
